Complaints Procedure
Quality, care and open communication
Careful, respectful and professional guidance is central to my practice. Even so, it can happen that you are not satisfied with something or have a complaint about the services provided.
When this is the case, I invite you to always discuss it with me personally in the first instance. In many cases, open communication can quickly provide clarity and allow us to work together on a suitable solution.
As a CAT therapist, I fall under the Wkkgz complaints right and disciplinary law through the Disputes Body for Alternative Therapists (Geschilleninstantie Alternatieve Therapeuten, GAT).
This means that, if we are unable to reach a resolution together, you can make use of an independent complaints procedure. The GAT provides a complaints officer who can support mediation between client and therapist.
If mediation does not lead to a solution, the dispute can be submitted to an independent disputes committee, which assesses the file in accordance with the guidelines of the Dutch Healthcare Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act (Wet kwaliteit, klachten en geschillen zorg, Wkkgz).
