Quality Framework

Quality Framework

Safety, professionalism and responsible practice within my work

Within my practice for coaching, sound therapy, phonophoresis and cupping, I work according to a clear and professional quality framework.

This quality framework forms the basis for safe, careful and transparent work within complementary care, for both individuals and businesses.

The aim is to carry out every session in a responsible manner, with attention to safety, attunement and the client's own sense of control.

What is the quality framework?

The quality framework is the whole of the guidelines, agreements and professional safeguards within which I work.

This includes, among other things:

  • a professional and careful intake and case history
  • working according to the guidelines of the CAT Collectief
  • attention to safety and contraindications
  • clear communication and a transparent way of working
  • respect for privacy and confidentiality (GDPR)
  • working within the limits of my expertise
  • cooperation with regular healthcare where necessary

CAT – professional code and professional guidelines

I am affiliated with the Collectief Alternatieve Therapeuten (CAT) and work according to the applicable professional code and quality guidelines within complementary care.

This means that my practice is based on:

  • ethical and responsible conduct
  • client safety as the highest priority
  • transparent and professional communication
  • careful attunement of treatments and coaching
  • respect for the autonomy and personal responsibility of the client

GAT – complaints and disputes procedure

The quality framework also includes an independent complaints and disputes procedure through the GAT (Geschilleninstantie Alternatieve Therapeuten, the Disputes Body for Alternative Therapists).

This gives clients the opportunity, when necessary, to have a complaint assessed independently in accordance with the applicable Wkkgz guidelines.

Affiliated with GAT, the independent Wkkgz disputes body recognised by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS).

BAT – professional liability insurance

As part of running my practice professionally, I am insured through professional liability insurance (BAT).

This means that:

  • the practice is insured for professional liability
  • work is carried out according to professional standards
  • there is an additional safeguard for safety and care in the conduct of sessions
  • clients can rely on a professionally structured practice

Insurance certificate (BAT)

Professional and business liability insurance through Beroepsverzekeraar Aanvullende Therapeuten (BAT), insured by Hiscox.

Intake, case history and safety

Every session begins with a careful intake and, where necessary, a case history.

This is essential in order to:

  • safeguard the safety of the client
  • identify possible contraindications
  • attune the session properly to the person
  • be able to work responsibly and appropriately

The client remains responsible for completing the intake fully and truthfully. Relevant information about health, resilience or contraindications may not be withheld when it could affect the safety of the session.

The client's own responsibility

Participation in all forms of guidance within the practice takes place on a voluntary basis and under personal responsibility.

This means that:

  • the client makes their own choices about participation
  • boundaries and bodily signals are respected at all times
  • participation can be adjusted or stopped when necessary
  • no medical guarantees are given regarding results

Way of working within the practice

Within this quality framework I work with various forms of guidance, including:

  • coaching and personal guidance
  • sound therapy and sound healing
  • phonophoresis with tuning forks
  • cupping therapy (fire cupping and Therapeutic Cupping)
  • vitality and relaxation programmes
  • business-focused programmes for vitality and absenteeism prevention

All forms are always attuned to the person or organisation.

Confidentiality and privacy

All data shared during intake, sessions or coaching is treated strictly confidentially and processed in accordance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

Data is used solely for:

  • the safe conduct of sessions
  • attunement and guidance
  • administrative and legal obligations

No data is shared with third parties without consent, unless required by law.

Safety and referral

If, during the intake or guidance, it becomes apparent that a session is not appropriate or not safe, I reserve the right to:

  • adjust a session
  • decline a session
  • or refer to a general practitioner or other healthcare professional

Businesses and vitality in the workplace

Within organisations, the same quality framework is applied.

Here the focus is on:

  • vitality and employability
  • support for employees
  • a preventive approach to workload and stress
  • safe and responsible sessions in the workplace

All programmes are always attuned to the organisation and the individual employee.

The importance of the quality framework

This quality framework ensures:

  • safety for client and practitioner
  • a transparent and professional way of working
  • clear ethical boundaries
  • trust and quality
  • responsible application of complementary methods

Important disclaimer

All forms of coaching, therapy and guidance within this practice are complementary and aimed at relaxation, awareness and vitality.
