Foot Balance

relaxation, calm and grounding, and a moment of stillness and recovery

The Foot Balance ritual is a relaxing, complementary foot treatment within my practice, focused on calm, grounding and releasing tension in the body.

During this ritual the feet are immersed in warm water in a quiet and carefully arranged setting. An ionic water system based on electrolysis is used as technical support for the foot bath. Within the treatment, however, the emphasis is always on the experience of relaxation, slowing down and body awareness.

At the start of the session the water is completely clear. During the treatment the water can visibly change colour, a remarkable phenomenon that many people find fascinating.

Many people experience the Foot Balance ritual as a moment of deep calm, recovery and release from overstimulation.

During the treatment the water visibly changes colour.

Experience and sensation

The Foot Balance ritual is often experienced as:

  • Deep relaxation and calm
  • A feeling of discharge and release
  • Improved grounding and body awareness
  • Warmth and comfort in the body
  • Mental calm and a reduction in overstimulation
  • A moment of stillness and recovery

The experience is personal and can vary from one session to the next.

Application within vitality and workload

Within my practice the Foot Balance ritual is not only applied individually, but can also be used within the context of vitality and sustainable employability.

Particularly for people who stand, walk or are physically strained a great deal in their work, this ritual can offer a valuable moment of calm and recovery for the feet and the body. Within the practice this method has also been applied in collaboration with organisations as part of a broader wellbeing and vitality offering.

The focus here is on supporting relaxation, moments of recovery and body awareness within a demanding working day. The ritual can be offered both individually and within a corporate setting.
